The idea
10 years ago a parent could write the names and dates of birth of their dependants on their passport. Now airlines require a full passport for children and even newborn babies. The photo regulations specify that babies must be upright, not crying , eyes open, against a white background, their arms and hands not in shot, no dummies or toys in shot, if an adult needs to support the baby then the adults arms must not be in shot. Anyone that has ever tried this will know it is ridiculous. What use is the photo anyway when babies change so much. This is also a big expense and a lot of admin for a new parent.
Why is it important?
This is a big expense for a new parent and can be alot of un nesscery admin on the part of the parent. It seems like it’s just a tax on babies
