The idea
I've noticed that new suggestions to ban the smoking ban are being frozen by moderators, so that people can't vote on them or comment on them. There is no good reason to do this. There are a lot of people who REALLY HATE the smoking ban, and who will want to just come on this site and say so. They don't want to see if somebody else has already suggested it . And now moderators are freezing new suggestions. And once they've been frozen for a while, they'll probably delete them.
The number of suggestions being made to get rid of the smoking ban simply reflects the depth of feeling that there is out there among people who've seen their social lives destroyed, and their local pubs closed. They're not reported in the media, or in newspapers. They're shut out.
And now antismoking moderators here are trying to silence them here as well.
Such moderators should be fired.

If you really want to know what people think, you have to let them speak freely.
